About UsTJAC offers apprentice and journeymen training. School is open daily for refresher and specialized training.

TJAC is a non-profit, college accredited, 5 year apprenticeship program with small classrooms of 10-20 students. Tuition is covered by negotiated benefits between our signatory contractors and Local Union 372. Students can also pursue higher levels of education through a partnership with Washtenaw Community College, Eastern Gateway Community College and Shelton State Community College.
Men and women learn beginning & advanced math, plumbing, HVAC, blueprint & drawing, calculator layouts, welding, cutting, soldering, brazing, rigging, OSHA, CPR/first aid, crane signals and foreman's certification. Upon successful completion of the program they will be Journeymen and Journeywomen in the field of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding. |
